With the web more and more becoming a part of so many elements of our society and culture, equal access is becoming an issue. A.S.I. wants to help maintain the "open community" philosophy espoused by the pioneers of the World Wide Web.
We contribute as we can by ensuring that those who can't meet commercial prerequisites have the same level of access as those whose sole interest is profit. We accomplish this by loaning our considerable surplus server space to those we feel have a valid need. We also try to provide pro-bono technical help as our resources permit.
